File this under U for useless information

A few weeks ago I cooked some green beans. I ate some of them and put the pan and the leftover green beans in the fridge. When I finally cleaned out the fridge Saturday morning I had a nice surprise. The beans were no longer green - they were shriveled up, black, and stuck to the pan. So I put the pan in the sink and filled it with water. When I got back to it on Sunday an amazing thing happened - the beans not only puffed back up from their former shriveled state but they turned back to Green. I don't know what kind of voodoo magic happened in my sink but I thought it was pretty amazing. I am also easily amused so that may have something to do with my reaction.
