Red Hooded sweatshirt

No not the Adam Sandler song - I bought a red Boston hoodie a few weeks ago. While I love it because it's soft and warm I have to say there's a part of me that feels a little like a traitor wearing a Boston sweatshirt and not a St. Louis one. I guess I'm lucky to have two places to call home.

On to American Idol - Chris rocked yet again - outstanding - but it seems as though there's been a shift in his attitude - I'm almost afraid to say that I think he might be a little too confident - anyone else see it? Guess that's part of the whole rock star thing - lots of attitude - and yep I'd still buy his album/concert ticket.

Not loving K. McPhee's singing tonight. It doesn't help that I hate the song she sang.
Oh my, what is Taylor doing on the floor? It reminds me of Madonna on the MTV awards way back in the 80's when she sang Like a Virgin. Elliot Y just won me over - I've always had a tiny soft spot in my heart for him but when he sang his second song - Home - he got me. Very nice. What a sad/sweet song -
Another summer day
Is come and gone away
In Paris and Rome
But I wanna go home
Mmmmmmmm

Maybe surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel all alone
I just wanna go home
Oh I miss you, you know

And I’ve been keeping all the letters that I wrote to you
Each one a line or two
“I’m fine baby, how are you?”
Well I would send them but I know that it’s just not enough
My words were cold and flat
And you deserve more than that

Another aerorplane
Another sunny place
I’m lucky I know
But I wanna go home
Mmmm, I’ve got to go home

Let me go home
I’m just too far from where you are
I wanna come home

And I feel just like I’m living someone else’s life
It’s like I just stepped outside
When everything was going right
And I know just why you could not
Come along with me
But this was not your dream
But you always believe in me

Let me go home
I’ve had my run
Baby, I’m done
I gotta go home
Let me go home
It will all right
I’ll be home tonight
I’m coming back home

Cinco de Mayo is rapidly approaching!
