Steve has a knack for saying the right thing(s), which given how quiet he can be may be a bit surprising to some. I've been working some things out here lately and think I might be getting close to an answer and it's exciting but also very emotional. I made a comment today about the 'new' Natae...something something something and he said, "That's great but the 'old' Natae is just fine too". Love him.

Beau and Kermit met this weekend and had the puppy equivalent to a boys weekend. It was fun to watch them all interact and play together. We love our dogs and ain't afraid to show it!

I'm 40 and I know it (almost 40)

Yesterday I had an epiphany while Van, the 20 something girl who does my nails, was talking to me. She made a reference to someone being my age - 35 or so (bless her heart)and it hit me. I'm almost 40 and dammit I know a lot.

I've had a lot of life experiences and life experience; not as many as some, but I'd venture to say more than many.

I'm proud of the grown up I've become, the knowledge I've gained along the way, and I'm going to own the hell out of this stage in my life and if you don't like it you are free to leave me alone.

I have long way to go but that's okay, I'm an adult now, I can handle it.
